Zoinks! A Big Announcement

I know this will come as a shock to many of you, but I’ve decided to forgo any additional work on my second novel and leave Codorus Press.

I appreciate that many of you enjoyed “Immaculate Deception” when it came out back in 2010, but the truth is that on the side sense then I’ve been earning an additional living as a closeted writer of erotic Scooby Doo fan fiction.

As many of you might know, since the popularity of “50 Shades of Grey,” publishers have been on the lookout for the next erotic fan fiction sensation. The imagined naughty exploits of Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne have long tickled the imaginations of adults, and the market demands more of what I’ve been producing.

The truth is that this surreptitious career has actually been far more lucrative than both my freelance career and novelist career combined, and with the growing popularity of erotic Scooby Doo fan fiction, publishers are now looking for ways to capitalize on its popularity.

With that in mind, I’ve been offered a three-book deal with Random House to produce a series of spinoffs based on a strikingly similar group of young adult ghost hunters accompanied by their psychic pit bull, Scabby, who find themselves stumbling into sexy mysteries at every turn. Naturally, those mysteries wouldn’t have been solved without the intervention of “those meddling, constantly in search of carnal gratification kids.”

It’s already been suggested that the books would be optioned for at least one big budget motion picture. Suffice it to say that the Hollywood wheels are in motion.

Thanks to everyone for supporting my “mainstream” fiction writing career, and while I understand that it might not be to everyone’s taste, I’m hopeful that you’ll check out some of the new stuff when no one else is looking.

Oh, and by the way, April Fool!
